When you open exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground . So for next o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
08339 Possible Causes:
08339 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08339 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
