Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3 run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed interference in mechatronic module or oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
08338 Possible Causes:
08338 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 08338 Code
- Inspect all the connections air cleaner inlet control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
