The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault bank 3, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust pressure sensor 2, high and reversing light, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
08317 Possible Causes:
08317 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 08317 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
