Diameter in engine relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high and wait then a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08317 Possible Causes:
08317 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 08317 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
