08314 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine fuel fired heater, performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground you can see the tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
08314 Possible Causes:
08314 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 08314 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission control unit (j217), programming error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
