The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault altitude adaptation, signal out of tolerance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground and barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
08309 Possible Causes:
08309 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08309 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
