The problem is about auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit . So for next valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

08302 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
