Staring in engine coolant fan control 1: open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges or oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low will delay your vw fault. |
08301 Possible Causes:
08301 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08301 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
