This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean . On the other hand please check dtc memory of airbag ecu is the final reason of the code. |
08299 Possible Causes:
08299 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 08299 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
