Accumulated in electronic control units so drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance also 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
08285 Possible Causes:
08285 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08285 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
