The problem is about fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake power supply, malfunction or change direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor circuit is the final reason of the code. |
08278 Possible Causes:
08278 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08278 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
