The problem is about relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake oxygen (lambda) sensor b4 s1, heater return coupling . So for next fuel pump, electronics faulty is the final reason of the code. |
08261 Possible Causes:
08261 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 08261 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
