This code were stamped on VW Engine case kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain missing message from awd controller and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
08255 Possible Causes:
08255 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08255 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
