08239 Possible Causes:
08239 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08239 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
