The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake shift lock, malfunction you can see the reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
08238 Possible Causes:
08238 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 08238 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
