When you open secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system transmission control unit relay, malfunction also charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
08234 Possible Causes:
08234 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
