This code were stamped on VW Engine case valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), regulation range exceeded it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ecm/pcm power input, signal low and mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
08229 Possible Causes:
08229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 08229 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
