The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground or vehicle speed signal, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
08229 Possible Causes:
08229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 08229 Code
- Inspect all the connections signal for back-up lights, short to b+
