Diagnosing engine bar with nox sensor bank 2, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle actuator control module, performance or exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached is the final reason of the code. |
08228 Possible Causes:
08228 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08228 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
