This code were stamped on VW Engine case secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off also secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
08226 Possible Causes:
08226 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08226 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
