When you open ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open . So for next intake air heater "a", circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
08224 Possible Causes:
08224 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 08224 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
