When you open please check dtc memory of instrument cluster the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit high . So for next fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08221 Possible Causes:
08221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08221 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
