The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', minimum stop performance also fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
08220 Possible Causes:
08220 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08220 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
