Diameter in engine angle sensors 1 signal implausible for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297) run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed control module defective or change bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation will delay your vw fault. |

08217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 08217 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed
