Staring in engine fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, higher limit not reached mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor idle regulation lean operation: rpm too high or change transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times is the final reason of the code. |
08214 Possible Causes:
08214 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 08214 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
