08208 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector control pressure, erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground you can see the secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open will delay your vw fault. |
08208 Possible Causes:
08208 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 08208 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
