08199 Possible Causes:
08199 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08199 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
