This something to do with the intake camshaft timing butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), of mechanical errors the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance or change cylinder 8 injector, data incompatible is the final reason of the code. |
08193 Possible Causes:
08193 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 08193 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
