08191 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, implausible message of the control module central electrics retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start shift lock, open or exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
08191 Possible Causes:
08191 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08191 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
