Diameter in engine different wheel speed signals, range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit also valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
08189 Possible Causes:
08189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 08189 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
