Accumulated in electronic control units so data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed . So for next secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
08189 Possible Causes:
08189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

What To Check After Fixing 08189 Code
