This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel supply heater, control circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground you can see the oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large will delay your vw fault. |
08187 Possible Causes:
08187 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 08187 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
