The problem is about exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high you can see the valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
08185 Possible Causes:
08185 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 08185 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug control module 2 (j703), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
