This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start generator shut-off, short to b+ you can see the load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
08182 Possible Causes:
08182 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08182 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message of the awd control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
