08180 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about injector control pressure regulator, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to b+ also evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
08180 Possible Causes:
08180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08180 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
