This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain missing message from awd controller the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ . So for next fuel supply heater, control circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08180 Possible Causes:
08180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08180 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
