This code were stamped on VW Engine case injector control pressure, too low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544) errors in basic adjustment you can see the exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |
08179 Possible Causes:
08179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08179 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator valve (n276), mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
