08179 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with wheel speed signal 2, range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start shift up/down wire, open / short to ground also air leak between maf and throttle body is the final reason of the code. |
08179 Possible Causes:
08179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08179 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
