This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reversing light, circuit open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2, compensation wire pump current, open circuit also turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |

08178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
