The problem is about metering pump for cleaning solution, faulty mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor cylinder 5 injector, data incompatible or cylinder 1 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
08177 Possible Causes:
08177 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08177 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
