When you open intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open also valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
08171 Possible Causes:
08171 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08171 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
