08171 Possible Causes:
08171 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08171 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
