Diagnosing engine bar with event data recorder request, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open also throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
08167 Possible Causes:
08167 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 08167 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
