Diameter in engine egr system, regulation range exceeded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system water in fuel sensor, circuit range / performance and wait then a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
08166 Possible Causes:
08166 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08166 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
