Diameter in engine oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles generator shut-off, open or short to ground also throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08163 Possible Causes:
08163 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 08163 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
