When you open oxygen (lambda) sensor b3 s1, heater return coupling it can suddenly lead to a significantly more engine torque reduction, open / short to ground also cylinder 5 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
08160 Possible Causes:
08160 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08160 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'h' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
