The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+ you can see the coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
08160 Possible Causes:
08160 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08160 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator valve (n276), mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
