08159 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'g' primary control, short to plus or change fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
08159 Possible Causes:
08159 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 08159 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
