Staring in engine secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system idle regulation lean operation: rpm too high also exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
08158 Possible Causes:
08158 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 08158 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
