This code were stamped on VW Engine case valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor and oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, heater return coupling is the final reason of the code. |
08157 Possible Causes:
08157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08157 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
