This something to do with the intake camshaft timing charge pressure fan relay (j712), open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
08151 Possible Causes:
08151 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 08151 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
