Staring in engine data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module battery monitoring retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit and wait then ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
08149 Possible Causes:
08149 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08149 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
