The problem is about nox sensor bank 1, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of brake system ecu and exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank will delay your vw fault. |
08149 Possible Causes:
08149 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 08149 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
