08148 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine bank 2, system too lean off idle it can suddenly lead to a significantly more tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground and wait then throttle actuator control system, sudden low air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
08148 Possible Causes:
08148 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08148 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
