The problem is about exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control system, ice blockage or valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
08147 Possible Causes:
08147 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08147 Code
- Inspect all the connections control circuit for controller for turbocharger 2 (j725): electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
