This something to do with the intake camshaft timing electronic control module incorrect coding to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off or a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08146 Possible Causes:
08146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08146 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift lock, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
