Diameter in engine function restriction due to brake temperature run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed signal for back-up lights, short to ground . On the other hand linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
08140 Possible Causes:
08140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08140 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
