08115 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel pump circuit, electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction also cylinder 6 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
08115 Possible Causes:
08115 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08115 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
